Entry Requirements

Level	Typical Entry Requirements
Foundation / International Foundation Certificate	International Foundation Certificate 30-week: Higher Secondary Certificate with minimum 60% overall and in relevant subjects. 15 Week: Higher Secondary Certificate with minimum 75% overall and in relevant subjects. Applicants must have an IELTS for UKVI or Trinity College SELT from a UK government approved test centre in order to get a CAS / Tier 4 Visa for a Foundation Course in the UK. Undergraduate/ Bachelors Degree	Academic: Candidates with exceptional scores in their HSC (grade A, 80%, 5.0 overall) and SSC (5.0 grade point) may be considered for direct entry into the first year of our undergraduate programmes. English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 - 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. See other acceptable proficiency tests. If you do not meet our requirements then we will consider you for our International Foundation Certificate
Postgraduate / Masters Degree	4 year undergraduate degree with 55% OR a 3 year degree PLUS a master's degree. Students with a 3 year Bachelors Degree may be considered for our 1 year Business Top-Up degree. English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 - 7.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. English Requirements	If you require help or assistance with your English then our International English Centre will be pleased to offer assistance and guidance. The Centre offers an intensive full-time course available before you commence your degree and provides ongoing support throughout the duration of your studies

Please note each course will require specific entry grades from the qualifications highlighted above. Some courses may also require an additional portfolio or interview.

Aberystwyth Bangladesh Scholarship (Undergraduate)	£2,000 tuition fee discount for every taught year of studies	Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship (Postgraduate)	£2,000 - £3,000 tuition fee discount	Students with an equivalent of a UK First Honours degree will be eligible for a £3,000 discount. Students with an equivalent of a UK Upper Second (2:1) or Lower Second (2:2) degree will receive a £2,000 discount. Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
International Accommodation Award (Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate)	International students are eligible to receive inclusive university accommodation for each year of studies. Caru Aber International Award	This award gives a £1,000 tuition fee discount to any international fee-paying students who spent a period of time studying with us as an associate student.	See our Caru Aber International Award page for more information.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship (MRes Parasite Control course only)	2 x scholarships that cover fees, approved fares and personal maintenance.
